Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health
“I understood how I can track my menstrual cycle, avoid pregnancy, how to use a condom and I can call on 116(Rwanda Investigation Bureau) in case I see a child being violated or harassed.” 15-year-old Sandra
About the Programme
This programme provides critical sexual and reproductive health knowledge to young people around the cricket stadium. In partnership with local experts, Health Development Initiative (HDI), we deliver workshops and cricket sessions that tackle issues such as puberty, contraception and gender-based violence. Providing this knowledge is critical to reduce levels of teenaged pregnancy and other STIs, and ensure young people have a platform for life.
